MoTel, HoTel, Holiday INN

This time of year, most people in Boston aren't from Boston. And, they're all jaywalkin!
With 26 four-year colleges in the area, the average age is, like, 27.

A handful of us went to Bahstun to work the trade show booth at eBay Live 2007.
This annual event is the year's best for companies to meet both powersellers and, those who aspire to sell powerfully on the world's number one social commerce website.

A redeye to Beantown on JetBlue was a bahgain. It was also mild torture for the next 28 hours. Not for 24, or 27; twenty-eight hours. They managed to stretch out a three hour time zone difference by another hour I felt more tired after sleeping partially, than if I were to skip sleep for that time period, entirely. Negative sleep, it felt like.

You like bricks? Whew! There's a lot of brickwork going on back then. Solid brick buildings with brick sidewalks and brick pillows. I dunno about the pillows, but that city is overbricked! The people are friendly. The chowdaw, lobstuh, beeah was common, and we had some great Italian foods, too.

Great time of year to be outside in the general Boston area. A little humid from our CA perspective.

Time to Come Clean About Travel Talk

One of my favorite websites has a "chat lounge" under the heading "TALK" on their homepage. Fodors brings people together around the globe to discuss their travel tales, often providing huge value in advice for fellow travelers. You just can't help yourself when you read some posts and wonder (aloud?) if several screen names belong to one individual. There was a time when registration was not necessary and there was a free for all on the message boards. Since 2003, that has changed and only ISP email addresses are allowed. Fodors used to allow email addresses from Yahoo! and Hotmail, which meant an unlimited number of screen names were possible.

My favorite posts are listed here (and might later be updated).

You can always search for the screen names:

Music in the Park - San Jose 2007

Here's the 2007 schedule of free music near the Fairmont Hotel.

Trying to gauge the quality of the bands this season.

I had always thought of "downhill" as a term used only for mtn biking and skiing.
