The Race for Oil on Earth

This is simple.

We use oil to make plastic things. Everything's gone plastic.
We use oil to lubricate things.
We use oil to produce gasoline.

That big ball of fire in the sky, the one that keeps us pretty toasty down here and lights our way each day? The sun? It's on fire, right? It's an endless supply of oil that's burning.

All we need to do is put out that fire. Then, we have access to an endless supply of oil.

Oh, right, the hard part is already stated. But that's oil burning right there.
